Russia’s defence ministry says its forces shot down a Ukrainian military transport plane carrying weapons and munitions. The ministry said Russian missiles also struck an artillery training centre in Ukraine’s Sumy region. According to the region’s governor, Russia has fired 6 missiles on Sumy Oblast over past 24 hours. Three civilians died due to a mine blast laid by the Russian military on a beach in an occupied village, as per Ukrainian officials.
