North Korea says that US drills have reached “an extreme red-line” and threaten to turn the peninsula into a critical war zone. North Korea added that they respond to any moves by the US with strong counteraction strategies including the most overwhelming nuclear force. This appears to be a response to the US vowing to deploy more strategic assets to the region such as aircraft carriers and long range bombers. The US rejected this statement from North Korea saying that they’ve made it clear that they have no hostile intent.
