North Korea has fired two strategic cruise missiles from a submarine. A US aircraft carrier strike group and nuclear submarines have been sent to the Korean Peninsula. The U.S. and South Korea have launched “Freedom Shield”, an exercise that will last 11 days with no breaks. North Korea said in response “heinous hostile acts of the US against the DPRK have reached such a grave level that we cannot stand idly by” Adding that they “solemnly declare that they will respond with extreme force to the most despicable hostile maneuvers of the US and its vassal forces”
