NATO to Kick Off Nuclear Drills Involving B-52 Bombers

Beginning Monday, air forces from across NATO will conduct nuclear deterrence exercises involving dozens of aircraft over northwestern Europe (17 October 2022). The exercise, which will last until October 30, is a routine, recurring training activity that is unrelated to current world events. The event, which will take place over northern Europe and the North Sea, will include B-52 bombers from the United States Air Force.
