B-1Bs at RAF Fairford - Central Enterprise '97

10 B-1Bs deployed to RAF Fairford during June 1997 for exercise 'Central Enterprise'. Six aircraft came from the 7th BW at Dyess AFB in Texas, with the other four coming from the 28th BW at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. This footage (excuse the very poor quality by today's standards) was taken on 6th June 1997, on my Dad's Sony Video8 Handycam. Runway 09 was in use and the day began with a stream launch by four B-1s (led by 86-0140 'The Last Lancer'). After lunch and in somewhat brighter weather two aircraft launched (led by 86-0103 'The Reluctant Dragon'). Happy Days!
