Όπως αναφέρουν πληροφορίες που προέρχονται από αρκετούς χρήστες του διαδικτύου και πιο συγκεκριμένα χρήστες που συμμετέχουν στο μέσο κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, twitter και πραγματοποιούν συχνές αναρτήσεις με θέμα τις εξελίξεις στην περιοχή της Λιβύης, αργά χθες το βράδυ, περίπου πριν 4 ώρες, ακούστηκαν εκρήξεις στην περιοχή του αεροδρομίου Γκαρνταμπίγια, που βρίσκεται νότια της Σύρτης και είναι υπό τον έλεγχο του LNA, δηλαδή του στρατάρχη Χαφτάρ.

Σύμφωνα με τις αναρτήσεις, οι εκρήξεις δεν προέρχονται από κάποια ένοπλη σύγκρουση, αλλά από νυχτερινές δοκιμές που πραγματοποιήσαν, οι δυνάμεις του LNA, μαζί με άνδρες της Ρωσικής στρατιωτικής ομάδας wagner, στα αντιαεροπορικά συστήματα, που βρίσκονται στην περιοχή του αεροδρομίου.
