Training starts for the candidates that made it through selection at Forsvarets Spesialkommando (FSK) parachute platoon.


The FSK (Forsvarets Spesialkommando) is together with the MJK the special forces of the Norwegian Armed Forces. FSK have roots all the way back to WW2 when Norwegians joined the Special Operations Executive (Kompani Linge). Their headquaters is in Rena leir in eastern Norway and their camp is a locked off camp inside another military camp. The Norwegian Armed Forces did not officially admit this unit existed until 1999.
