See hundreds of prices artifacts from the state’s past, including the Verendrye Plate—French & American history, a Jefferson Peace Medal—one of a kind ever found, and a Sioux Horse Effigy-a masterpiece. The galleries present a plethora of interesting and intriguing material. It was tough to see a substantial amount of the displays in a few hours, much less present in the travel tip. However, I hope to encourage you to visit your state’s historical museum and learn about your state’s history. All part of the sites along the Road to Nowhere—US Highway 83.
