According to a Ukrinform journalist, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published the appropriate remark on Telegram.

The anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot Russia's Su-34 fighter-bomber aircraft near Izium, Kharkiv Region, at approximately 10:00 a.m. on June 12, 2022, according to the report.

The plane crashed in the region that had been temporarily inhabited. The information about pilots has yet to be verified.

On June 12, 2022, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners destroyed Russia's Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle, and Ukrainian combat aircraft performed multiple air sorties, unleashing air attacks on Russian occupation troops' positions.
