During the later years of WW2, the Japanese needed to find a way to strike back at the Allies. They wanted to find a way to bomb the US mainland, but it being 8,000 + kilometers away, caused an issue. But through the discovery of high altitude winds they would use balloon bombs to hit back. These huge balloons would travel across the Pacific Ocean and release bombs over the US. It would be known as the Fu-Go Campaign.
