Sue Freeman joined the RAF, initially training on Chipmunks, progressing to fly the Mach 2.2 Tornado F3. When Quick Reaction Alert, she was scrambled to intercept two Russian Tu-95 "Bears" off the Shetland Islands. Her wingman took the photo to prove it! Sue's story will be an inspiration to many - girls and boys, thinking of a career in their Air Force.
