Archaeologists have just solved the mystery of a British aircraft from WWII that crashed when a secret mission went horribly wrong.
The aircraft was discovered near the small village of Ballykelly in England. It’s a Beaufort AW271, and it came barreling out of the sky in April 1942. The three men on board were killed, and the debris was quickly gathered to prevent classified equipment from accidentally falling into the enemy's hands.
