Dalawang trahedya sa ere ang naganap sa loob lang ng 24 oras. Sa Pilar, Bataan, patay ang dalawang piloto ng Philippine Air Force matapos bumagsak ang sinasakyan nilang attack aircraft kaninang umaga.

Mahigit isang araw naman nang nawawala sa bahagi ng Isabela ang isang Cessna Plane na may sakay na anim na pasahero, kabilang ang piloto. Natukoy ng rescuers ang lokasyon ng cellphone ng isa sa mga pasahero, na makakatulong daw sa paghahanap sa kanila.
