A Ukrainian observatory post was destroyed in a Russian artillery attack in Zaporizhzhya. Tass, quoting a Russian military official, said that seven Ukrainian troops were eliminated and several military vehicles were destroyed. In Kherson, three people were killed in a deadly Russian assault on a supermarket. Meanwhile, two Canadian mercenaries were killed in a fiercely contested battle for Bakhmut.
