The "first wave" of tank delivery, as described by Ukrainian Defense Minister Dmytro Kuleba, will include between 120 and 140 contemporary main combat tanks from twelve NATO nations. The Pentagon revealed last week that 60 Bradley fighting vehicles had left South Carolina and would be arriving in Europe this week. According to the declarations, Ukraine now has one of the strongest militaries in the world, with tank capabilities comparable to some of the main NATO nations. While France has 222 Leclerc main combat tanks in service, the UK keeps 158 Challenger 2 main battle tanks on active duty.
