10 August 1999, just one monthe after kargil war, a breguet atlantique patrol aircraft of Pakistani air force is spotted flying close to Indian border. At that time India and Pakistan had agreed that neither country's planes would fly within 10km range of border, but Pakistan broke this law. Even after warning multiple times it didn't return, Indian air forces 2 mig21 fighter jets shot it down killing 16 Pakistani people including the pilots.
