Check out this video I found from 2014 of a Hawker Sea Fury crash landing at Culdrose Airshow in 2014. The aircraft owned and flown by Navy Heritage Trust (UK) suffered an engine failure while performing in the airshow. My initial reaction at first glance what the pilot forgot to put the landing gear down, however this was not the case at all. The Pilot Chris Gotke received the Air Force Cross for his efforts saving the aircraft and potential civilian casualties by sticking with the aircraft and piloting it to safety. One of my favorite aviation quotes is "fly the aircraft as far into the crash as possible".
