As we always say. Most of the pilot and senior officer of the Philippine Air Force favored the F-16V Viper over the Jas-39 Gretchen C, as a whole is more capable fighter planes, and more practical given the close ties and alliances us with the United States.


Remember that the Gripen variant that the PAF is looking at is older than the outgoing Jas-39C/D from production, and not the latest from Jas-39E/F which is said to be more expensive than the Viper F-16V.
