China voted to condemn Russia for its invasion of Ukraine and its aggression in the UN today. This is the first time China has voted to condemn Russia for its bogus war. The resolution also says that there should be compensation for the states that have suffered damage as a result of Russian aggression. India also voted to condemn Russia. The only countries to vote against the resolution were Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Nicaragua, and Syria. Typically Iran votes along with the deplorable 5, but they abstained this time around. We’re now a year into this war and the international condemnation of Russia’s invasion is still growing as fears of nuclear war rise again.
