The Challenger 2 is an advanced main Battle tank , a powerhouse of destruction, designed to dominate and eliminate other tanks. Built in the UK by the legendary, Vickers Defense Systems, now BAE Systems and Land Armaments, it is a symbol of strength, precision, and fear to all who dare challenge it. With its roots dating back to 1986, as the successor to the Challenger 1 Tank, the Challenger 2 has proven its worth on the front lines, serving the British Army with distinction since July 1994. From the operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the strife-ridden region of Kosovo and the heart of conflict in Iraq, the Challenger 2 has been put to the test. Despite facing intense combat situations, the Challenger 2 has never suffered a lost at the hands of enemy forces. Currently it is in service with the British Army and with the Royal Army of Oman. On January 2023, 14 of these tanks were announced to be delivered to Ukraine to defend against Russian aggression.
