Boeing 737 Ryanair FR4978 (SP-RSM Ex EI-FZX) hijacked!

This Boeing 737-8AS of the company Ryanair (SP-RSM) (ex EI-FZX) was diverted yesterday (May 23 2021) during flight FR4978 Athens (ATH) to Vilnius (VNO)

He was forced to land at the Minsk airport (MSQ) Belarus to arrest the journalist Roman Protasevich who was traveling on the plane.

It is not clear whether Aleksandr Lukashenko's regime used a false bomb threat or used a fighter jet to make the detour.

After several hours in Minsk, the plane left its destination in Vilnius without the dissident or four Lithuanian citizens who were also detained at said airport.

NATO has requested an investigation of this "serious and dangerous incident" because it is a commercial flight of a European airline
