An unmanned combat aerial vehicle (U.C.A.V), also known as a combat drone or also battlefield uav, is an unmanned aerial vehicle (U.A.V) that is used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance and may carry aircraft ordnance such as missiles, ATGMs, and/or bombs in hardpoints to be used for drone strikes or also. These drones are usually under real-time human control, with varying levels of autonomy.
Philippine is planning to have unmanned combat aerial Vehicle on its inventory, aside from Hermes 900 a non-combat Aerial Vehicle. AFP really need this to fight a decade insurgency in the Philippines. This Machine can loiter 24 hrs and drop guided munition to specified target with precision. The government will save a lot of money as these battle machine do not consume lot of gas, compared to OV-10, or even on FA-50 which high cost every flying hours. But did not Materialized.
