1.The Union Cabinet has approved procurement of 70 HTT-40 Basic Trainer Aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force at a cost of Rs 6,828.36 crore. The aircraft will be supplied over a period of six years.
2.Pakistan has put on hold all export marketing of JF-17 (except for stall displays at expo) as Russia has stopped supply of RD-93 engines.
3.ADE issued tender for retractable landing gear provides illustrations of the 1.8 ton Archer-NG (Single Engine Twin Boom).
One can spot many similarities with the TAPAS-BH in the front fuselage and wings.
4.GE won't give IPR or modification rights of their engine for AMCA: Rolls Royce official
5.Rolls-Royce offers to co-develop Jet engines with India to power indigenous fighter jets such as AMCA.
The company also said that the IP Rights for the new engine will also remain with India.
7.First flight of CATS OMCA (Optionally Manned Combat Aircraft) to take place this year.
HAL Kiran MK-II intermediate jet trainer aircraft is being converted into CATS OMCA.
8. CATS warrior First flight in 2024.
